Exciting RX Lites Weekend In Hell

RXLites-Hell16-News-01

For the second year, RX Lites Teams are heading to Hell, Norway; for the 4th round of 2016 season. FIA World Rallycross Championship presented by Monster Energy will meet the enthusiastic rallycross fans of Norway this weekend in a small town called Hell, 30 km east of Tröndheim. Uphill and downhill characteristics of the track makes it one of the unique and yet one of the most technical rounds of the season.

Cyril Raymond is flying to Norway as the series leader and he will be pushing the throttle to defend his lead. But it’s the home soil for Thomas Bryntesson who is currently at the second position overall and will be using the advantage of racing in front of his local fans.

There are a few newcomers to the field. One of the most exciting one of them is Albert Llovera. Former Olympic sportsman has been trying his chances at the motorsports for years. What makes him special is his disabilty couldn’t slow him down and his fame and success raised in years. Albert of Andorra is not only famous in his country but also has an international reputation with his passion on motorsports and as well as his positive attitude. Former Europan Rally Champion, Dakar legend and ex-RX Lites driver Krzystof Holowczyc’s Lotto Team prepared a special RX Lites for Albert to drive and he had a very successful test session earlier.

Henrik Krogstad is another new name to RX Lites series. Young Norwegian is known as one of the nominees to be selected for Talent Search Program of Motorsports Federation of Norway. Last year, he lost against Thomas Bryntesson. This round in Hell will show a payoff between the duo, both racing from the JC Racetek squad.

The schedule is so tight this weekend since the groups and entries are at their maximum bests. Supercar, EuroRX and Touring Car rounds wil mixed up with RX Lites races. The first action will be on Friday the 10th and starting with Free Practice session which will be followed by Qualifying Race 1 on late afternoon.
